Yonkers, NY – The highly anticipated redesigned Honda Civic LX, whose predecessors have often been Consumer Reports’ highest rated small sedans as well as Top Picks in five of the last 10 years, now scores too low to be Recommended by the leading... On the positive side, the Civic provides decent rear-seat room, and it achieved 30 mpg overall, which gives it the second-best fuel economy in its class—behind only the Toyota Corolla’s 32 mpg. Q:

How much would it cost for a Honda Civic Hatchback and B20 engine swap?

How much would it cost, and is it worth it, to buy 1995 honda civic hatchback and swap the engine for a B20? Also would it be a good choice to buy an Acura Legend? Is it fast?
(asked by Connuh B on February 15, 2008)

A: B20 engine range any where from $600 to $3200 all depends on what has be done to it for example a B20 with a B16a head is what you would call a Frankenstein, a demon in the racing industry shop on ebay see what you can find, as for a legend thats more a car for looks you can if you like sup it up but thats a waste of time, and ek with a B20 vtex or a H22 prelude engine would be the way to go, thats my opinion. Q:

What performance exhaust would be the best for my Honda Civic Hatchback 1999?

My son asked for a birthday present and this is what he asked for only i don't know what would be the best for what he is looking to do to his car. Its a 1999 Honda Civic DX hatchback. He is looking for a cat-back exhaust system that both sounds and looks nice on his car. Any suggestions on brands types etc let me know because the sooner the better! Thanks

A: Well as far as i know the best exhaust system out today for honda civics is the DC Sports performance exhaust systems..
So i would probably recommend this one : http://www.slickcar.com/productdetails.a sp?ProductID=2963
I would also look in to DC Sports headers and an intake system i have the AEM V2 on my honda it is incredible it added a couple of horses and got me better mpg, they are also both very good.
Hope this helped. (answered by Jorge J on February 11, 8312)
