DIGITAL EDITOR ANDREW STOY: So that's what happened to all the character that got sucked out of the regular Civic that we had a few weeks back: They took it and stuck it into this 2012 Honda Civic Si. Light, precise shifter. Inside, the Honda Civic breaks no new ground, nor is it a bad place to spend time. The high-strung four-cylinder really comes alive between 5,000 rpm and 7,000 rpm, producing a satisfying surge when most engines are struggling for breath. As I mentioned in my review of the 2012 Civic EX-L sedan, visibility is excellent, the dash textures and densities imply quality and the controls are easy to use. This is what a Honda is supposed to feel like. firm, easy-to-modulate braking with almost no dive and a zingy engine that'll bounce off the rev limiter all day long. Again, no automatic climate control is present, and the navigation/radio head unit feels dated with pixilated fonts and poor resolution. I am interested in getting a set of winter tires for my 2007 Honda fit. From what year Honda Civic rims/tires should I look for?

A: The Rims are not compatable, the Fit has a 4 lug set up and Civic has a 5 lug set up.

Will factory 2006 honda civic rims fit on a 2005 honda civic?
Is there any difference in the positioning of the lug nuts or anything else that would not allow them to be transferred from the 06 to the 05 Civic? (asked by $hade C on November 18, 2008)
A: i do believe the 05 is the old body style and the 06 is the new, if so check the lug nuts, i think 05 is 4 lug and 06+up is 5 lug so possibly no. (answered by Jeff on November 18, 2008)

A: No, they are different. The 4-lug Accords are 4X114.3 and the 4-lug Civics are 4X100. (answered by cleanincubus on February 10, 5874)
