I have already removed all visible "Honda" and "Goldwing" badges and labels on my GL 1500, and placed "Harley-Davidson" badges and stickers on my bike. I know I won't fool a real biker, but I just want to impress ordinary people and not be embarrassed about driving a Goldwing. What else do you recommend? (asked by Ranger Aaron on January 03, 2009)
A: Save the money you spend on stickers, don't send any more money to Japan, buy a real "motorcycle", not a "bike" and get the feel of something worthwhile between your legs. working on a 1980 Honda GL1100 goldwing I have replaced starter regulator stater plugs won't start when warm.
I need help, I am working on a 1980 Honda Goldwing GL1100. I have replaced the starter, stater, plugs, regulator, and battery. I can start it cold with a little help from a jump, but when it gets warm I cannot get it to start with the starter, but I can push start it. Please help me any and all ideas would be appreciated. A: Check your timing and make sure that the timing advance is working properly...then check valve clearance...if not correct it can cause the bike to be hard to crank...kinda tuff to diagnose over the Internet (answered by tooldaddy2003 on September 02, 2007)

Can I put a regular Car CD player in my 1983 Honda Goldwing?
Greetings: I have a 1983 Honda Goldwing, which currently has a cassette player in it. I was wondering if it was possible to somehow put a regular car cd player in its place. Maybe by using an adapter or something? Please help, thanks. (asked by steel608 on July 14, 2008)
A: well, if the cassette player is the same size (eg.the hole it fits in) as the new CD player, then it should just slide straight in. (DIN fittment!!) Mine works perfectly but I take it out when not in use (incase somebody pinches it) (answered by rayh47 on July 14, 2008)
