Lauren Garcia of Lake Worth was driving eastbound on Sixth Avenue South at about 11:20 p. m. when her 2001 Honda Prelude slid sideways and ran off the north side of the road, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Report. A 20-year-old woman died Saturday night after she lost control of her car on the Lake Osborne bridge on Sixth Avenue South. The Prelude struck a fence surrounding John Prince Park, rolled down an embankment and hit two trees before landing on its roof, according to the report. Palm Beach Post Staff Report.
I am currently looking at getting a 5th generation HondaPrelude. I need a car that will last me a while seeing as I will not have the funds to be able to get a new car anytime soon. What is the difference between a Honda civic and Honda Prelude? What's better for upgrading for performance?
I love both the Honda Prelude and Civic hb and plan on getting one of the two soon. I want to have a car that has a lot of options as far as upgrading the performance of the car. Which car would be better for that? I preferably want to stay with Honda, but are there any other cars that are specifically good for what I want that may not be Honda? A: i would say honda civic. the prelude is more powerfull but kinda heavy. consider also the acura integra..lol, i mean RSX. honda has a huge following, so aftermarket will always be available....search websites to see how much modifications will cost for each car. that might help you decide which is more bang for the buck. also, keep in mind that the accord had a larger engine, but the v6 only came with an automatic. What are the odds of a Honda Prelude being Faster than a Skyline GTR?
The prelude would be a stock standard 2000 model Honda Prelude VTIR.
What are the odds of both cars being un internally modified and stock standard and the prelude being faster than the GTIR? (asked by Wannabe Ken doll on November 23, 2009)
A: No chance what so ever with both being stock the GTR models on paper where 276bhp due to regs in Japan until Jan 05 but Nissan let those cars out at around 330bhp and as we know still detuned with actual internal running power at around 600bhp.
The Skyline also features attessa also which already makes it fast off the line.
Also 0-60 times of the GTR on paper are rubbish also as when i took my then stock R33 GTS25T for a test run it ran a GTR 0-60+ time.
The Prelude is a nice car i borrowed one for a few weeks once and enjoyed it.
The chevy is a nice car as for the Skyline it has nothing to prove it has been around since 1957 and won a mass of races over those years and even still today is used by top tuning companies and owns the awd drag record and used at drift events,the R32 GTR led to motor racing rules being chnaged due to winning so often and rules then stopped it taking part in that class.
