A: Probably. Those things are very heavy and huge. You bought a 7,200 lb brick so even with a diesel its going to be bad. If you could afford a $125k Hummer does the mileage really matter?

A: get a turbocharger and take that beast off roading.
Also you have to put it on a diet.
