I am not sure how all of this works. I would also want some bigger off-road tires and nice (black) rims to go with this. Install too.. Any ballpark estimate on what this would run?

A: well you have two options. get the largest wheel/tire combo that will fit on your hummer without rubbing, remember the whole tire assembly moves up and down when you go over bumps, so it might look like you have enough room when its sitting there but maybe not when driving. if you want to go bigger you are looking to spend a couple of grand in a lift kit plus a grand in labor.
wheels and tires are probably not going to be less than 1000 since they are so big, but you could spend up to 5000 on wheel and tires.
if you get larger wheels you might have to buy upgraded brakes because you have more mass rotating and the stock brakes weren't designed to handle that stress (answered by burnt_helium on February 10, 1591)

How much will it cost to paint my H2?
i have a hummer h2 that is pewter in colour. i was wondering how much it would cost to paint it black. and if anything wrong would go by doing that for example, i paint it and you can tell that it was repainted.

A: Unless they dismantle the entire vehicle and paint from scratch you will be able to tell it was repainted.Nooks and Crannys are a dead giveaway. However,if you want it painted just don't take it to Maaco or you will have problems! (answered by Young on July 03, 2007)
