Q:

Can another Remote to a Hyundai be programmed for a 2004 Hyundai Elantra ?

My daughter has a 2004 Hyundai Elantra and she only got (1) One Remote with the car.

We have another Hyundai Remote for a car we no longer have
Can it be programmed to work on her car?

And if so, How?

Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.

Q:

Why is my 2004 Hyundai Elantra sputtering?

I own a 2004 Hyundai Elantra with about 73,000 miles on it. I have the oil changed every 3k - 5k miles and I just had all the fluids changed. Just today it started sputtering occasionally. The check engine light is not on and it has never completely died while its sputtering. What could be wrong?

A: ERICA

You have a spark plug thats just about ready to stop working.
this is a $ .89 cent problem.

They probably not been changed in a long time, and though Hyundai's give great gas mileage, yours should be a little less.
That kinda jerking feeling is the plug trying to keep working, if it had stopped working it would run ruff all the time.

Go to a auto parts store and get a set of "Auto-Light" spark plugs for that car. $5 (the ones in a orange box) even Wall Mart sell them, they have proved to give longer service.

Then grab a guy with a spark plug wrench, and ask him to change them for you.....should take about 15 minutes.

This is a usual thing, and your car is just fine....but it your cars birthday....and it gonna get some new plugs. (answered by math.merlin on February 21, 2008)

Q:

How do you program a key-less remote for a 2004 Hyundai Elantra?

I have a second remote that needs programing. The only thing I can find on the internet is not correct. The procdure changed in the 2004 modle year. Any help please....
The dealer want 90 dollars to program it. I know it is easy because I programed my Pontiac remote myself.
Yes I am a ASE Tech Master Tech, I know that you dont have to hook it up to the computer like the deales says. That is why I am asking. The Michhel Manual does not show the correct procdure to program it. It says to switch the control module to program but it does not have a switch.

I dont know everything like you...
