STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A Rossville man faces jail for shooting his ex-wife’s home then driving drunk through the South Shore leaving several wrecked cars in his wake.

Arthur Omdahl, 48, of the 200 block of Gervil Street, pleaded guilty to a count each of attempted weapon possession and DUI stemming from the Oct. 19 shooting and drunken road rage that reportedly started as a spat over child support.

Omdahl faces a prosecutor’s recommendation of two years behind bars when he returns to state Supreme Court, St. George, Jan. 19 for sentencing in front of Justice Leonard P. Rienzi.

“He’s thankful nobody got hurt from the shooting,” said Omdahl’s attorney, Louis Diamond. “It was an alcohol-related accident, and he’s very sorry.”

A: That code doesn't make sense. Go back and have it scanned again. It should look something like P0300 or P1345. (answered by Lab on October 10, 2007)

A: $262 for discs... do you mean rotors? I just rebuilt the rear brakes on my Tiburon, new rotors and brake pads ... cost for all parts $140 and did the work myself... so that makes their labor over $260. This job is way over priced.
