Anyway, a 99 accent should be fine for light use, have it checked out by a mechanic to be sure there are no major issues. It's hard to predict reliability on any car that old, but that's why you are paying less then $1500 for the car. (answered by aj20031018 on January 23, 2009)

The parts he's quoting are Chinese parts and they require twice the labor to install. So they're not worth using. It cheap parts and high labor so lose money and quality is very low! A 99 Hyundai Accent isn't worth much! $1000.oo tops! Complain about it's a cheap car to start with and being so old AND a rental car it's value is really low. Then negotiate REAL HARD! A: The fact of the matter is the car might be great but it is not worth the expense. The reality is for the $1000. or so to put it in is a waste of money, because of the-sale value.
