I have infiniti fx 35 and it is very rough and bouncy on the road.

A: The FX is a bouncy car, but it's necessary to accommodate it's good performance.

I just (2 months ago) replaced the brake pads on my 2003 Infiniti FX35, with semi-metallic pads. The car is making a screeching noise. A friend said it could be because the car may need organic pads, and the semi-metallic are grinding on the rotor. What are required for this car, organic or metallic? (asked by K. A: OEM brake friction material for this vehicle is Ceramic, not Semi-Metallic so yes, the noise could be attributed to the use of the wrong friction material. (answered by Mark F on December 10, 2008)
