I have an
Infiniti FX. I'd like to know what convertible carseat to use, as my son is outgrowing the Graco SnugRide. I really want the Britax Marathon, but I think it may be too big for the FX's small backseat. I don't want to have to move the front passenger seat all the way forward because then I won't be riding comfortably. FX owners, I need your opinion. Thanks in advance!

A: First focus on making sure that the seat is appropriate for your child and has done well in crash tests. Car seats are meant to fit in just about every car although if you have a small backseat you may just need to squish it in more. A: Swap in a VQ35 or VQ37 engine. Otherwise, ain't gonna happen with a Chevy V6 motor. It's mostly the engine, and the exhaust adds to it.

A: The FX is a bouncy car, but it's necessary to accommodate it's good performance.
You can try some aftermarket air shocks, or check into different tires. That should help. (answered by DTB on February 10, 8905)
