Redskin rookie is quite a catch

"A coach is going to like that guy, or a coach is going to like that guy, but you can't worry about how many guys are on the field. --Leonard Hankerson bought himself a 2011 Infiniti FX50 shortly after being selected by the Washington Redskins in April's NFL draft. "If you don't know what you're doing, you're not going to play. "If you don't know the playbook, you're not going to play," Hankerson said after yesterday's practice. You've got to understand the playbook. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound third-round pick out of Miami is a virtual lock to make the Redskins' roster despite the team's plethora of receivers.

You Ask We Answer

Q:

Lexus LX570 or Infiniti QX56 or Infiniti FX50?

We just purchased a Lexus for my wife and we both love it. I've always been a fan of the Infiniti brand more so than the Lexus. But the customer service at Lexus is unbelievable. Here lies my dilemna...I want to trade in my Nissan Armada on a luxury SUV next year. I like the Lexus for it's vehicle and customer service, but the price is too high. I'm afraid the customer service for Infiniti won't be up to par and I'm scared the QX56 will ride too much like a truck (like my Armada does). The FX50 is in the equation simply from a sporting standpoint.

So taking into consideration the above mentioned items, and the fact that I will be purchasing in Jan 2010 or so, which would you choose and why: A certified used 2008 Lexus LX570, a certified used 2009 Infiniti QX56 or a certified used 2009 FX50?
(asked by moserkm on December 10, 2008)

A: If you are looking for a new cheaper Lexus to purchase in Jan 2010, the new GX will be out by then. If you meant Jan 2009, I'd go certified LX 570 or wait until Feb 2009 for the new RX 350 to get to the showroom. Nissan is discontinuing the QX56 and they are considering canceling all of their truck based SUVs. The FX50 seems like a nice SUV but is nothing close to a large SUV. A: I bought my first Infiniti in 1992. I owned it for 10 years and bought my second in 2002. Infiniti's customer service is wonderful. Except for routine oil changes, I always have my cars serviced at the Infiniti dealer. It's a little more expensive, but they do excellent work and provide a free loaner car.

I can't remember all the details, but my first Infiniti developed a problem that was covered by the powertrain warranty, except that the warranty had expired about a month before. I asked if they would cover the repair anyway, and they did! They had no legal obligation to do so, but they did it anyway (and it was not an inexpensive repair). This was over 10 years ago; so I don't know how they'd treat a similar situation today, but I can say I've always appreciated how Infiniti takes care of its customers. Q:

Infiniti FX50 or Porsche Cayenne?

Which one is a better car based on everything except for price?
haha very funny Mr. K im just trying to get knowledge of various vehicles, and if u think im a kid youre wrong. being a top contributer, id expect better manners from you.
(asked by FJ on August 08, 2008)

A: Porsche Cayenne.
The Infiniti is more fun to drive because it is smaller and lighter.
But the Porsche is more comfortable, more luxurious, and its a Porsche.

The Cayenne Turbo is the fastest SUV at 171mph. (answered by C7S on August 08, 2008)

Q:

Does anyone out their have the new infiniti fx 50?

Hey I was searching on youtube, and to my disapointment, I did not find too many reviews on the infiniti FX 50. Does anyone out their have the FX50? Is the engine noise louder than the fx 35, since it goes 0-60 in 5 sec?
(asked by David S on September 21, 2008)

A: All the newer Infiniti's have tuned exhaust and are not noisy. If you buy one make sure you only service them at the dealer. There are special engine and transmission fluids that any quick lube won't have. These vehicles are way to technical for the every day mechanic to work on.
I prefer the FX35 over the FX45 or FX50. (answered by thebax2006 on September 21, 2008)
