Should I get a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe or 2008 Infiniti G35X?
I currently own a 2003 Infiniti G35 but I'm getting rid of it for something newer. I've had a lot of maintenance issues with this car and the maintenace costs is really high but I love it nonetheless. I love the 08-09 Honda Accord coupe and I wanted to either get that or the 08 G35X. Which one in your opinion would you recommend? (asked by QT Like Mee on June 16, 2009)
A: I'd definitely go with the G. I love (and drive) an accord, and absolutely love it, but there is no comparison. I think you'd be awfully disappointed with the Accord, after having a G. Accords are nice all around performers, and their reliability is excellent. They just can't compare to the luxurious Gs. I'm actually surprised you've had so many maintenance issues with yours, as they are reknowned for their reliability. Of all cars consumer reports tests, the G35 is at the top. It has top notch performance, comfort, and predicted reliability. I'd buy another with confidence. Here's an excerpt from CRs recent review.
"The G is quick, sporty, and pleasant. For 2009, all trims get the 3.7-liter V6 and seven-speed automatic that improves fuel economy. The car is blistering quick, yet returns 21 mpg overall. While the V6 is a bit loud at high revs, the car is now quieter at highway speeds. Handling remains agile and predictable, with a taut yet compliant ride. The interior has high-quality materials and easy-to-use controls. But the cabin is a bit snug and the trunk is small. AWD is optional on both the coupe and sedan. A convertible version will be offered shortly".

I have narrowed down my choice of cars to purchase to the Cadillac DTS or the Infiniti G35x, which one?
I have a quandary: I have narrowed my future car choices to a 2007 Cadillac DTS high performance version - (used) with 20,000 and certified pre-owned with a bumper to bumper warranty for 5 years and 100,000 miles, and a new Infiniti G35x with the premium and navigation package that has a 3 year 60,000 mile warranty. My wife likes the Infiniti better and thinks the Cadillac is an "old man's car" - I'm 44. What is everyone's opinion out there? (asked by ButchF16 on July 26, 2007)
A: Both are good choices. Websites often give their own opinions about vehicles, but I wouldn't let that influence your decision. The DTS Performance Sedan is not an "Old Man's Car". If you were looking at a base DTS with a front bench, that's a different story.
I've driven both, have friends that sell them, and know they both have good and bad traits. BTW, a Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned Warranty is actually 6 years or 100,000 miles bumper to bumper from original date of purchase. What car should I get Acura TSX, Audi A4, Infiniti G35X ?
I currently own a 2003 G35 and I want to sell my car and get something else. I'm thinking about one of the three. I like the body of the new TSX and its cheaper than the other two. However, I'm still a fan of the Audi A4 and the new G35X. Which car do you recommend? (asked by QT Like Mee on January 28, 2009)
A: The new G is actually a G37x, so you will have more power than what you currently have. The TSX is a bit weak, so it may feel like a downgrade from your G35. I would suggest the TL instead. The A4 is fun to drive, but i don't see it as a G37 competitor, 200hp not enough. The Gs should be compared to the higher end A4s in my opinion. (answered by ridewithgdotcom on January 29, 2009)
