Q:

Exhaust Question - 2004 Infiniti I30?

I recently purchased a 2004 Infiniti I30. shortly after, the muffler needed to be replaced - still under warranty by the dealership. I noticed that when I picked up my car I now had a single exhaust vs. the duel exhaust I once had. Is this bad for my engine? Why would they do this? Cost effective I'm sure..........

A: Its probably what they had in stock. The dual exit may have been an option, and will still have created the same back pressure as the single exit.

If its an infiniti part then its still been designed for your engine, so it should have no adverse effects. (answered by James R on December 19, 2008)

A: it can b bad for it. but did you agree to that. if you didnt take it back to them use some words and make them put it on back to normal. (answered by pyroline8 on December 19, 2008)
