My '91 Isuzu Impulse RS needs fixed for cheap!!!?

I am a twenty one year old Ex-Marine that has one adopted child and one on the way currently and I am in desperate need of my vehicle being fixed cheaply. The only type of Transmission I have found has to come from Japan and is $3,200 including shipping but not labor. Please help if you can!

A: Be careful not to spend silly money on the car that has hardly any monetary value left in it. The junkyards are the best place to look. They are inventory connected to show what is available at many yards. You can look for the Impulse tranny and also that from a GEO STORM. Same car. If you find one try to assure that the car donor is a wreck. That is some assurance that it was running prior to getting junked. A good FWD tranny from a yard could be about 5 to 7 hundred bucks. A: Keep an eye on this website. a 91 is pretty old though. I know money is tight but isuzu's that old are not exactly known for their longevity.
