Q:
A: First thing check the ground wire on the negative battery terminal, if it reads zero ohms it ain't that, secondly check the charge on the battery no matter how old it is, if it isn't close to 13 volts it is your alternator or a relay under the hood. Check the output of your alternator and if it is putting out less than 14+ volts it probably has a bad regulator in it, if it reads 6 or 7 volts there is no doubt it is the alt. I have put more than one alternator in the same vehicle, just from experience I would guess it to be the alt though. (answered by samhillesq on May 16, 2007)
A: THE BUZZINGSOUND IS THE STARTER TRYING TO WORK, SO I WOULD SAY GROUND . IF A FUSE WENT, IT WOULD JUST STOP WORKING, NOT FLICKER AND GO OUT. TRACE YOUR BATTERY CABLES. IF NOT THAT TAKE THE BATTERY BACK TO STORE AND HAVE IT TESTED. (answered by icabear2 on May 16, 2007)Q:
