Excuse Me ...Anyone Mechanically Inclined! The engine malfunction light came on in my Jaguar 2003 X-Type and it won't start....Was this caused because of lack of fuel? How can I fix it?

A: If you ran out of fuel you might have burnt up the electric fuel pump or even plugged up the fuel filter. but you didn't give much info for us to help with. (answered by guy g on August 04, 2008)

How reliable will a 2003 jaguar x-type 2.5 car be? Is it worth the money?

I found a nice deal on an 03 with only 21k miles on it and it's really clean! Just wanted to know if these cars are known for breaking down and giving alot of maintenance problems. Any advice will surely help. Also, I've already checked online for anything like that, and it was of no help. So I turn to you my Yahoo Answers people. Thanks!

A: I hate to admit it (being a fan of all things Ford), but this one may not be as great as it looks. While Ford has invested a lot of money into Jag, I am not so sure that this year is a good one.
I would recommend a Mazda RX over this ride.
But I go with a "gut feeling" on cars more the eye appeal. So just sit down in it and close your eyes and see if you pick up good vibes or bad vibes (do this with the radio off and with nothing to distract you, I close the doors too). (answered by teamepler@verizon.net on December 11, 2007)

BMW's are great but they look like every other car (due, admittedly, to everyone copying BMW)
