You Ask We Answer

Q:

Is the Jaguar XJS convertible (1995 model) a good car for a weekend driver?

Car has 50K on new engine, immaculate body and paint, clean interior, all options, 110K miles, one owner, all service records. Is this car comfortable, stylish to most, fun to drive, and dependable for a weekend cruiser? I have never driven one before. Thanks for your advice.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - autoinsurance.maclenet.com (answered by Cris H on March 13, 2009)

A: Hell yea!! I mean even if you take the factor of 110k on it, the Jaguar XJ are premium Jaguars. ALL British cars practically have the most luxurious rides that Germans cant match up too. I'd buy it (answered by The Stig on March 13, 2009)

How many Jaguar XJS celebration convertibles were manufactured?

Jaguar stopped producing the XJS in 1996. Between 1995 and 1996 they made a special model named the 'Celebration'. I am looking to find out how many convertible versions of the celebration were manufactured. Thank you!
