First however, they visit that capital of class, New Jersey, to find out just how much exotic car they can buy for five grand. Adam manages to find a well-loved Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. 1982 Jaguar XJS - V12 Any advice on what I can do to pass theCalifornia Smog Inspection?
In Dec.
2006 I bought the Jag it came with paper work that said it passed the smog inspection in Nov. '06. And now 17 months and 9,000 miles later its a gross polluter comparing the test results to each other and the amounts jump off the scale to at least triple didgets, any suggestions?

Why does my 1989 Jaguar XJS V12 shut down after warming up?
The
engine starts but shuts down after warming up (about 10 minutes or less. I think it's vapor-locking due to the bad fuel rail design and the ECM unit. How do I correct the problem?

Where exactly is the VCM button on a 1992 Jaguar XJS V12?
I was wondering where the VCM button is on my jag so I can get the fault code for the check
engine light. Does anyone out there have a good description on where I can find this button?

A: Should be on the right side of the steering wheel, below the instrument pack in the same cluster of buttons for the trip meter. (answered by bracken46 on June 15, 2009)
