Two intersection collisions this weekend
Early investigation into the collision determined a white older-model Jeep Grand Cherokee was travelling eastbound on 99 Avenue when it came into contact with a southbound Oldsmobile. Fire, police and EMS also attended a motor vehicle collision at 98 Street and 99 Avenue Saturday, around 7:30 p. m in Grande Prairie, Alberta. At least one person was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle T-bone collision at 112 Street and 100 Avenue Sunday afternoon around 5:45 p. m. RCMP had no further information as of press time. That is a light controlled intersection and this accident is another example of crappy driving in Grande Prairie.

Q:
Is my water pump bad on my 99 jeep grand cherokee?
The vehicle is a 99 Jeep grand cherokee with a 4.7 v8. The truck has started getting hot (has not been run hot, the truck has been turned off when the heat hand started approaching the danger zone). The heater inside the truck is also not heating up. I replaced the thermostat (I could not believe that the thermostat was $20 for this truck) and it did not help at all. I opened up the bleeder screw to bleed the coolant system. The fluid does not seem to be circulating because I can not get the coolant to flow out the bleeder, even as the hand is going up past normal, All I get is some steam coming from the bleeder hole. I also here a tapping sound. I first thought this may be a rod coming loose, or maybe a lifter, since the truck has alot of miles on it, but now Im wondering if the tapping sound could possably be coming from the water pump. the truck cranks and runs fine, and there is no smoke or sign of water in the oil. Is there a way to tell if the water pump is bad?
(asked by madcountymusic on September 01, 2007)
A: If you open the bleeder on the bottom of the radiator with the engine shut off and cooled down, and get no water, then there is a possibility you don't have enough water. Make sure the tube from the radiator to the filler tank is not clogged and make sure you have plenty of water.
Normally you don't want to open the actual radiator cap, )assuming it has one), but if while its cold you open it, and then start the engine, as it warms up you should see the water start to flow through the radiator. If it don't, you either have something clogged, or the pump is bad. A: Just change the pump to eliminate it, its probably due for a change anyway. If thats not it, i'd guess some kind of air lock is going on.

I am installing it to my stock cd player and i alread attempted it with no luck. I have purchased a line output converter what should i do hit me up
(asked by Austin D on October 28, 2007)
A: HEY GUY...IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE USING YOU "STOCK CD PLAYER" HERE IS HOW TO INSTALL THE LINE OUTPUT CONVERTER...THE CONVERTER SHOULD HAVE 4 TO 5 WIRES COMING OFF OF IT...YOU WILL WANT TO TAKE ONE OF THE SPEAKERS OUT OF THE CAR THAT RUN UP TO THE CD PLAYER..LIKE A 6X9 OR 6.5" OR SO....K YOU WILL SEE THE POS..AND NEG. WIRES ON THE BACK OF THIS SPEAKER THAT WILL RUN FROM THE SPEAKER TO THE FACTORY CD PLAYER...YOU WILL THEN JUST GET BOTH OF THE NEGATIVES AND PUT THEM TOGETHER AND BOTH OF THE POSITIVES AND PUT THEM TOGETHER...AND SOILDER THEM TO THE SPEAKER TERMINAL IF YOU CAN ON THE FACTORY SPEAKER....IF YOU BOUGHT AN EXPENSIVE LINE OUTPUT CONVERTER ..YOU MAY WANT TO GO AHEAD AND TAKE THE 2 REAR MOST SPEAKERS OUT OF THE JEEP...AND SOULDIER ONE SET OF POS AND NEG WIRES ON THE LINE CONVERTER TO THE POS AND NEG TERMINALS ON ONE SPEAKER IN THE JEEP AND THEN DO THE SAME TO THE OTHER FACTORY SPEAKER..YOU WILL THEN HAVE 4 WIRES RUNNING OUT OF YOUR LINE LEVEL CONVERTER...2 WIRES TO ONE FACTOR SPEAKER OF THE JEEP AND THE OTHER 2 POS. NEG WIRES RAN TO THE OTHER SPEAKER OF THE JEEP....THEN ...YOU WILL SEE THE FEMALE RCA JACKS ON THE OTHER END OF YOUR OUTPUT CONVERTER...YOU WILL PUT THE AMP AND SUBS IN YOUR JEEP....AND THEN PLUG A PAIR OF RCA (MALE TO MALE) STANDARD PATCH RCA JACKS FROM THE FEMALE RCA OUTPUT ON THE CONVERTER BOX (YOU JUST WIRED UP) TO THE INPUT SECTION ON THE AMPLIFIER.....THEN..WALLA..YOU WILL SEE WHEN YOU TURN THE JEEP ON AND TURN THE RADIO UP THE SUBS GET LOUDER......IF YOU DONT HEAR BUT A LITTLE FROM YOUR SUBS..YOU MIGHT CHECK IF THIER ARE LITTLE ADJUSTMENTS THAT SAY + TO - ON THE LINE OUTPUT CONVERTER....AS YOU TURN THIS TO THE + SIDE ..IT WILL MAKE A STRONGER SIGNAL TO YOUR AMP...THERE FOR ..YOU WOOFERS WILL GET LOUDER....DONT BE AFRAID TO TURN THIS UP IF YOUD LIKE:)
HOPE I HAVE BEEN OF SOME HELP TO YOU...
