QUESTION: Our daughter borrowed our 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and when she returned home in the mountains, she noted that the electric fan by the radiator was still running. I hesitate taking it to an automotive center without a clear problem, and presumably the AAA tech erased any codes, which would leave little to go on. Any suggestions. The AAA tech that arrived jumped her battery and "reset the code on the computer" and the problem went away. We've owned the Jeep since new and the fan has never continued to run after the vehicle was shut off. Evidently it ran for a couple of hours and eventually discharged the battery. , which generally doesn't get that kind of heat, but it's a little puzzling and somewhat disconcerting. —Mike Malbon.

I am trying to upgrade the look of my 05 jeep grand cherokee 5.7L limited. Would a more recent model of the cherokee bumper fit on the 05 model and would the srt8 bumper fit also? If it does, where can i buy them?
Would an 06 or 07 srt8 body kit fit then, since it is still the same body as the 05? or is there nothing i can do for it. (asked by Apostolos on October 04, 2009)

So I pulled to close to a light post and cracked part of my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee (4.0L) bumper off. I assume the whole thing will need replacing and since it was obviously my fault, insurance won't pay for it. Anyone got a general idea of how much this will cost to fix? Including labor, parts, and painting?
