As we noted last week in our First Drive of the new 2012 Jeep Wrangler , not a lot has changed this year in the way the Wrangler looks from the outside, or even how it performs off-road&mdash. The Jeep Wrangler remains one of the most iconic, uniquely American, and instantly recognizable vehicles. But it's also a good thing that the 2012 Wrangler has been given Chrysler's excellent new Pentastar V-6 and five-speed automatic transmission&mdash. Going back more than 65 years, the appearance of this anchor of the Jeep lineup has changed surprisingly little. will be able to point it out as a Jeep. Even those who aren't at all vehicle enthusiasts&mdash. resulting in much-improved acceleration and on-the-road pep, as well as a much more refined driving feel, especially out on the highway. and that's a very good thing. or small kids&mdash. And having such a continuous and consistent design heritage are important factors in being so recognizable, so distinctive.
Are TJ and JK Jeep Wrangler Soft Top Windows Interchangeable?
Meaning, if I were to buy, off classifieds, JK Soft Top Side and Rear Windows, would they fit my '97 TJ Jeep Wrangler Soft Top?

Does anyone have a Jeep JK Wrangler manual transmission that is jumping out of first gear?
My Jeep is jumping out of first gear. The dealership tells me that they will 'have another look at it'. Any advise on what to look for? (asked by hapki2u on May 07, 2008)
A: a bad synchronizers,s in the transmission will cause that too happen ,that's the most common cause for it in jeeps,i have replaced a few for that,the should be able to detect that one pretty easy,if you can hold it in first gear without it jerking the shifter out of your hand its the synchronizers in the transmission causing it,good luck. How many Jeep JK DIESEL Wranglers were produced to 2007?

A: I don't believe you will be able to get an exact number,I believe it would be in the 7500-8500 range just by the average number of diesels built per day.When the 2007 production started in July of 06 it was slow because of the redesigned vehicle and the new factory,we didn't start building diesel's on a regular schedule until Nov of 06.Right now we are building an average of 60 diesels per day out of a total of 520 vehicles daily.I don't know how you could get the vin numbers.
