Cote escaped apparent injury, but his 2000 KIA Sephia was demolished in the 12:51 p. m. crash, Estes said. Officer Darin Estes said Corey Cote, 32, was eastbound on Ferry Road when he lost control of his car, traveled off the right shoulder and hit a Central Maine Power utility pole, snapping it and bringing a live wire down onto his car. Ferry Road area residents were left without power for about four hours Sunday afternoon after an Auburn driver's vehicle hit and snapped a utility pole. Loss to the pole was estimated at $1,500.

My Sephia is a 98 and I bought it 72k on it and paid only $1600 with a 2 year warranty. It is in good shape now at 111k but is only worth 1k at most.
