Q:

What newer parts can I put on a 2000 kia sephia?

I've heard Kia Rio parts will fit my kia sephia but i'm not to sure about it. I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust and muffler and also thinking about getting better pulleys to put on just to give it a little boost in power.

Q:

Where is the master cylinder located in a 2000 Kia Sephia?

The clutch on my car is sticking and I was told to check the fluid in the master cylinder, but i do not know where it is. Please help!
I had a new clutch put on my car about 2 years ago.
(asked by Lisa S on August 27, 2008)

A: Master cylinder is for the brakes. Slave cylinder is for the clutch. Both are driver's side by the firewall but I don't think you're going to do any good.

Have you replaced the clutch in your Kia before? If not, you won't want to hear this, it's overdue for replacement and you are going to need a clutch. In fact, even if you have replaced the clutch you could very well be due for number two. It'll be about $600 as long as you stay away from the dealer.

Don't be too upset. Clutches are wear items in your car--just like brake pads or tires, they don't last forever. And, you can baby a dying clutch for a very long time if you need to put it off. (answered by Gabriel on August 27, 2008)
