Q:

How much ground clearance did a stock Land Rover Defender 90 have?

I am looking for the ground clearance measurement (in inches) for a stock Land Rover Defender 90. Preferably for the 1994 D90 Automatic. I know ground clearance depends on suspension, wheels, tires, and what transmission is hanging out of the bottom of the car, so if anyone has the original stock number, it would be a huge help.

Q:

Where can I get keys made for my 1998 Land Rover?

I bought this car at an auction but it didn't come with keys. It has 4 wheel drive. Tires will not rotate. I cannot move it.
(asked by Nadia R on November 08, 2007)

A: You may try getting a lock company to look at it, some can make keys with the tools they have without removing anything from the car. Or you may have to go to the dealership to replace either the keys and or the whole key assemblys. (answered by PHILO on November 08, 2007)

Q:

Whats wrong with my land rover freelander?

I have a land rover freelander v6 es. The steering tends to go towards the left every time I let go of the steering wheel even in a flat even surface. the tire pressure is all the same. I've asked a friend who also owns a freelander and he said it also tends to go left with his vehicle also. What do you think is the problem and how much would you think it would cost to have it fix?
(asked by Jeric Matthew on July 04, 2007)

A: Hi

You need to be checking the track rod end, the bottom ball joint and bush, the wheel bearing, and the shock absorber, all on the left hand side.

You could take it to have the tracking checked and they may notice something whilst checking it if you mention it to them.

Cheers
