Q:

lexus is250?

I want to buy a 2006/2007 lexus is250 with nav what do you think a good selling price would be? It seems like mainly the is350s have the nav and the prices are really high.
(asked by Jadana on February 09, 3203)

A: I just took one in on a trade for $26,000... It was a Red IS 250 AWD with Nav with 26,599 miles. A car like that "Certified" (Lexus 3 year 100,000 mile comprehensive warranty) will retail for $32,500. You can Buy it for $30,000 - $31,000. The problem with that car is there is a high demand for them and there aren't many back off of Lease yet. I would wait until May or June once a few leases are up and the cars are coming back in. you will get a better deal because the market will be flooded. I have a list of 5 clients waiting for 06 IS's... Usually its a matter of which salesperson gets to work first and can contact their customer first to purchase them. We won't even advertise them online because by the time the car is listed it's already sold. (answered by EL "W" on February 09, 6441)

A: Few months ago, I bought a 2006 is250 AWD with all options including cold climate package with 26,000 miles for 29,000. (answered by luvsid2 on February 09, 2093)

Q:

Do all Lexus IS250 come with premium audio?

i am planning to buy a 2006+ Lexus IS250 , some ads will say that it comes with premium audio and some does not mention it.

Do you know if ALL lexus is254 come with premium audio? (13 speakers) and also if not , what package is it under?
(asked by Pretty Boy Duncan on November 27, 2009)

A: Yes and no. Do all Lexus IS250 come with 13 speaker "premium" auto - yes. What you described is the base model though, although it's pretty darn good. Calling the base audio "premium" is not unfair.

Is there a higher level available? Yes. That'd be the Mark Levinson 14-speaker 300-watt @ less than 0.1% THD, 20-20,000 Hz Premium Surround Sound Audio System with 7.1 channel architecture, whatever that means. The Levinson audio also adds DVD.

If the car you're looking at has it, the words "Mark Levinson" will be printed under the CD slot, between the word "Lexus" and the "Load" button. If it doesn't say that - it just has the standard audio. Another way to tell - if the car you're looking at doesn't have GPS, it doesn't have Levinson (since you need the screen from the nav system for the DVD). It's a pretty high end option, in 2010, adds $1440 to the price of the option package that included the GPS (above and beyond the nav system itself). Very few people get it.

To be fair though, the standard audio is pretty darn good.

And to echo Jimmy - I also have one with AWD, nav, premium wheels and spoiler - and it does look damn nice!! (answered by crnd on November 28, 2009)

A: I have an IS250 and I don't have a clue about the audio system. I knows it's a Lexus and it looks hella nice. Make sure you get one with the rear spoiler, premium wheels, AWD and the Navigation. (answered by Jimmy on November 27, 2009)

Q:

How much negotiating room is there on a used Lexus IS250?

How much negotiating room is there on a used Lexus IS250?

Has anyone bought a used Lexus IS250 lately? I just went to a "Fine Car Dealership" in Toronto and found absolutely no room on the list price of $39,999.00. There was also no room on the dealer fee of $2000.

I expected to find a certain level of room to move between the black book value and the list price.
(asked by Christine A. K on May 01, 2009)

A: If you want a used IS 250 you should get about 2-3k negotiating room from a private seller, at a dealer I probably would only go down 1k maybe 2. The $2000 dealer fee, that's stupid or maybe that's a standard in Canada, I've never heard of it in the US. You should be able to find a lot of Is250s in Toronto, so if you don't like the dealer go to another one. (answered by UConnBballFan on May 02, 2009)
