Lincoln sales stumble during brand reboot
By Matthew Heimer We’ve written recently about the efforts by Ford Motor Co. to reposition its Lincoln luxury brand , restyling the marque’s sedans and SUVs in an effort to shake Lincoln’s image as a grandpa car. All in all, Lincoln sales fell almost 23 percent in March, with sales down from previous-year levels for every model. But Lincoln’s most recent sales numbers, released this week, are particularly poor – and delays in delivering one of its new models may have been a major factor in the downturn. MarketWatch’s Quentin Fottrell reports that Lincoln was one of the month’s “dogs of the dealership,” or brands that performed poorly during an otherwise strong sales period. Karl Henkel of The Detroit News offers one reason why : Lincoln’s revamped and heavily promoted MKZ sedan, originally expected on lots in December, has been behind schedule, held up in some cases for additional quality inspections.

Does anyone know the name of the song in the Lincoln car commercial. I think its for the Lincoln MK2 or MKZ, and I'm not sure that's even right. I know the song has a countdown in it, it goes 4, 3, 2, 1, then some lyrics about love. Does anyone know what this song is. It gets stuck in my head for hours after I see this commercial.

I have been trying to figure out the name of a song for over 20 years now...everytime I hear it on the radio, they never say the song title and I never have a pen handy to write down the lyrics. I just heard the song again...it sounds like a new wave type of song and it was definitely from the 80s...while the original song had a male vocalist, I just saw a Lincoln car commercial that featured a lady saying a remake of the song. Does anyone know what this song is?
