They have your car listed. They make a bracket to mount a caliper to the existing drum spindle. They then give you a list of what caliper and rotor to pick up at your local auto parts store. I have used their bracket on my mustang. The rotors fit an 80's Chev S-10 and the Rotors were 80's Ranger. All those parts were in stock at my little local parts store. Gotta like that, no special orders of special custom parts. I did not look at what parts yours needs but they are usually GM calipers and Ford rotors. (answered by doornobk on March 11, 2009)
Q:
A: What state do you reside in? What year and model is the engine? In California, you cannot swap an older engine into a newer chassis legally. They call it a replacement engine otherwise it would be an engine change which would require a lot to get approval for it, and it has to be the same year engine and ECM as the year of the car that it is going into and it had to be available in that model as well.
Some states do not have that requirement, you should check what the state you live in has to say about it, before you do anything. (answered by bmwrider001 on February 11, 5510)

A: None that I know and figure that you can get similar results with larger exhaust and flowmasters or similar. The 460 was certainly not designed for "high performance" in the big Lincoln chassis and therefore was never a market for headers. When those cars were new, gas was cheap, and the folks that bought those cars didn't want the noise that headers would give. I think that Hooker or one of the other major header outfits sell univesal type header kits for certain engines that come with all sorts of elbows and pipek, etc. so that you can essentially create your own. You weld them together after cutting and fitting. An easier solution might be to modify some headers for a 460 from a truck or other vehicle. While the truck ones would probably hit frame and other items on the Lincoln, they could probably be cut and bend and made to fit by a competent "pipe bender" at a well established muffler and exhaust shop. Still doubt that they would do you a lot of good and add noise to what is supposed to be a "quiet ride". :-) (answered by mohavedesert on December 02, 2006)
