The governor paid a visit to New Haven Thursday to meet with the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce on the second floor of the exclusive Quinnipiack Club at 221 Church St. The meeting took place at noon. After Dannel P. Malloy dropped into New Haven to hear local business concerns, he left town the way a lot of other visitors do—with a parking ticket. Malloy’s driver, a state trooper, parked the governor’s black Lincoln Towncar right outside the Q Club entrance, just a block from downtown’s historic Green. Inside the club, Malloy and his new commissioner of the revamped Department of Economic and Community Development, Catherine Smith, sat at the head of a U-shaped table next to Anthony Rescigno, head of the chamber. why did my 1999 lincoln town car's rear wheels seem to lock up?
had some tires put on the rear wheels and when i got home the car would not back up the rear wheel woulds not turn backwards,(asked by John M on February 13, 2008)
A: well its not the emergency brake because that auto releases when you put the car in gear. I would check the lugnuts and possibly as odd as it might seem the tires being put on and not being able to backup may not be related you could have a bad caliper or a trans problem so don't focus just on the fact tires were just put on check everything. I looked it up online but can't find anything pertaining to it except Rear Wheel Bearing parts. I need this fixed asap, please help.
