Q:

Where can i find a factory mazda 6 exhaust?

I have a 2004 mazda 6 2.3 l 4 cylinder. It has a magnaflow exhaust on it right now and i was looking to get back the factory exhaust because of the loud noise. I would be willing to just swap it out with anyone that wants it. Or do you know where i can find a stock exhaust? Anything will help. Thanks!

Q:

How do you get a good sputter spound for Mazda 6 exhaust?

Usually when people say their car sputters they mean a bad thing. But Im talking about that good tuner sound that the high performance tuners have ( kind of like a sputter sound like the 350Z in Tokyo Drift). I hope you know what i mean.

A: Just put on those silly "fart cannon" mufflers that all the kids think are cool. Oh, and be sure to add the park bench on your trunk as a spoiler and they decals that add 5 HP a piece...

Ok, seriously, you should look at a Cat-back exhaust system tuned for your car. Many will give enhanced performance and efficiency while adding a more "throaty" sound.

To get an idea of what's available and their sound search for your car on YouTube and you should find many videos posted by people who have done these mods and uploaded their results. (answered by cnshinn on March 17, 2008)

A: "sputter" I am not sure I know what you mean, but f you mean that high pitched scream a race car makes you want a glass pack or cherry bomb or even one of those chrome pipes for an exhaust. I wouldn't want my car to sputter, growl, purr, etc yes , sputter no lol, sorry had to... (answered by lovedefies on March 16, 2008)

Q:

2004 Mazda 6 exhaust? Clamped/solid?

On the 2004 mazda 6 is the exhaust clamped on or is it a solid set that I gotta cut to replace?
And how much to replace exhaust at a shop if it is solid assembly?
Thanks
(asked by defghij on October 21, 2009)

A: You'll likely have clamps. unless someone else has done work on the exhaust. They are kinda put together like Lego's. (three or four pieces either bolted or clamped together.) Take a peak under and find out for sure. won't be hard to tell. (answered by Rory T on October 21, 2009)
