Q:
A: Your chances of finding a '69 anything in a junk yard are between slim and none. Use Craig's list as that will allow you to search in certain locations. Ebay is another place, and you can do a whole US search or within 200 miles. The areas you mentioned are some of the best places to find cars. One of our club members here in Alabama took off searching for a car traveling the back roads of the mid west. He came home with a '37 Chevy he found in someones yard and knocked on the door to see if it was for sale. There are lots of cars around that people just let sit since they don't know the vehicle has value. If I lived in your area I would be traveling the back roads every weekend, you never know what's around the next corner or in the next field. Hope this helped, good luck in your search.
