Where to buy wheels for Mitsubishi Lancer ES 2006?
I am looking to buy new wheels for Mitsubishi Lancer ES 2006 car I got last year. I have good tires, so I just want the wheels.
First, I don't know my car's specifications (wheel size. etc) so where can I get that info?
I was looking at www.buywheelstoday.com they seem to have many nice wheels for sale. Once again, I wasn't sure which ones would fit my car. Or maybe there are other places to buy wheels?

A: Go to www.tirerack.com
You can select your car a nd see what wheels will fit as well as how they look on your car.
Click on that link then click on a wheel size, that will expand the info and then click on View on vehicle.
Currently Tirerack only has one wheel that is 14"...this would allow you to keep your stock tires...picking any other size from 15" -20" or larger will require new tires. Also, you need to pick the right size wheel/tire combination. Listening to the other poster and getting 19" or larger wheels/tires may not be the best thing...they could rub when you turn or rub on the fender when you go over bumps.. A: Lancers have an amazing amount of aftermarket options to choose from. there is SOOO much stuff you can do with your car. Check your manual for any information on this, I have a 2003 Evo with 19in rims. I wouldn't suggest you go much bigger than that. besides. rubber gets expensive the bigger you go. A: There should be a label on the end of the driver's door that gives the inflation pressures for all the tires on the vehicle. Sometimes it is located on the door jamb. This is the pressure that the manufacturer has determined that will give you the best fuel economy and cause the vehicle to perform as advertised. If you can't find this information on your car, you can probably find it in the owner's manual. Otherwise, between 30 psi and 32 psi seems to be about average for most cars. No, these wheels will not fit Lancer ES models which have the more common 4x100 bolt pattern. (answered by Mark F on February 11, 6540)
