Q:

Can i use the performance parts from the nissan 350z on my 2009 nissan maxima?

There are NO performance parts on the market for the 2009 Nissan Maxima. So, since they both share the exact same engine. Can i use the more common 350Z upgrade parts on the Maxima?
(asked by azreal18 on April 04, 2009)

A: If the cars really have the same engine, I'd imagine that the Maxima has a detuned version. I'm not positive but I'd be willing to bet that the Z has hotter cams, high compression, and better flowing induction system. Maybe you can can upgrade some of those components but seriously ask yourself, is it worth it?

Why would you buy a brand new front wheel drive Maxima and try to mod it? This car simply isn't designed for performance like the Z is, and chances are you will void your warranty with any performance mods. If I was you, I'd sell this car and buy a used infiniti G35 if you want better performance and still room for 4 people. (answered by Big J on April 07, 2009)

A: The main problem is the motor is turned 90 degrees to the right. It is the economy I think performance parts will be available soon. Call Stillen and Jim Wolfe Technologys. (answered by John Paul on April 04, 2009)

Q:

Is there any indication of the price on the new 2009 Nissan Maxima?

If anyone has found anything stating the price for the new 2009 Nissan Maxima, I'd be very appreciative for the information.

It's a BEAUTIFUL car, and I am 90% positive that I want to purchase one when it becomes available, however, I'd just like to know the price point. I imagine it's gotten more expensive, if you've seen the car, you know what I'm talking about!

Thanks for any information!
(asked by Dork with Questions on May 07, 2008)

A: anywhere from 30-35K (answered by imtheman808 on May 07, 2008)

Q:

Where will the 2009 Nissan Maxima be built?

I am a fan of Nissan, particularly the Maxima. I owned a 1987 Nissan Maxima SE and while it was not a marque for style,it was the pique of dependability and performance and luxury. As of late, 2004 onwards, I have seen many negative reviews on the first American built Nissan Maxima. Will the 2009 series be built in the US or will manufacture resume in Japan? I love Maximas but refuse to buy American.
(asked by centery on March 29, 2008)

A: Give USA a chance the 2004 to 2006 were ok in terms of dependability. 2007 and 2008 restyled ones even better reliablity and better looking. This next Maxima is on display at the Dallas Auto show next week and it too is american made. More News to come. (rumors abound about the V-8) Japan cars imported include the 350Z, GTR and The Murano. (answered by on March 29, 2008)
