Nissan offers four exterior colors: gray, silver, red, and black. I sell Nissan's in california and have seen only 2 of these used and they run about 24,000 to 27,000 used.
The Altima SE-R is a great vehicle actually my friend steve owns one in the smoke color he traded a 4cyl. Altima in for it and he loves it to death... if I recall correctly the Altima SE-R was first introduced in 2005 and continued untill 2006 model line up.

Now finding a used one is kinda hard because of the low production on these things but your best bet is call your local dealers and ask them if they have any in their inventory also check carmax. (answered by Karupt322 on June 24, 2007)
A: The SE-R is the sports edition. They made them a couple years ago. You could probably find them on EBay if your local used car lots didn't have one. I'm pretty sure they only made them in 2006. (answered by arietta on June 24, 2007)

My 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R makes a whining noise when the engine is turned off and on?
I think that it is some kind of actuator under around the engine... I can't determine where in the engine compartment it is coming from. Little help would be appreciated. Thanks. (asked by Brent on July 18, 2009)
A: You have owned it for 4 years and have not noticed the one way clutch noise from the alternator pulley? REV-UP switch off the car and the noise will last longer. The weight of the stator inside the alternator and power pulses of the motor pulling on a automatic belt tightener would vibrate the belt if Nissan had not used a 1 way clutch. (a sign the clutch has failed) Coasting like a bicycle sprocket it freewheels just a second or two after the motor is turned off. Switch the car off at 6,000 rpms and it will wind down for 20 seconds. (answered by on July 19, 2009)

Can u get a nissan altima supercharger to fit in a 2002 sentra se r?
Is there any possible way to get a nissan altima factory supercharger to fit in a 2002 nissan sentra se r (not spec v) automatic. Just curious. and if it is possible what adjustments need to be made and additional hardware do i need. Thanks Alot (asked by Corey W on October 16, 2007)
A: There is no off-the-shelf supercharger that will fit an Altima or Sentra. They are all pretty much custom-made.
Also, no Nissan Altima/Maxima ever had a supercharger from factory. You might be thinking of the Eaton supercharger optional on the Xterra if I remember correctly?
You'll have to go aftermarket and as Jon Paul said, the transmission might give. (answered by fishbone on October 18, 2007)
