BlueDrone RC Nissan GTR is controlled by an Android smartphone

The car is 1:20 scale and is made to look like a Nissan GTR. The controls for the car are only through an Android app that connects to the car with Bluetooth. The app will allow the smartphone accelerometer to control the car by turning and there are onscreen controls too. Power for the car comes from three AAA batteries and the car measures 8″ x 3. A new toy that is controlled by a smartphone has landed on KickStarter and the toy is called the BlueDrone. The KickStarter pages says that the car will sell for $59, assuming the guys trying to bring the project to market can scrape up the $200,000 that they want to start the project. I have had hankering for one of the AR. Drones that are controlled with the iPhone for a while now, but I can’t bring myself to spend that much money on a toy...
ok me and my girlfriend and mom landed in Tennessee around nashville for my gf's cousins graduation and we got picked up from the airport by her aunt and as we were riding to their house my girlfriend says "oo hey thats a pretty car" and i looked over and it was a silver nissan gtr i almost S*** a brick i was hanging out the window trying to take pics and i still have 3 on my phone...but i thought the gtr wasnt supposed to hit the streets for a few more months? any ideas? a test drive maybe? A: There are a few GT-R's roaming around these are ones that have been imported before Nissan have released them worldwide although what they are saying is they will not allow and Nissan workers to do repairs to these cars.
Also there are some prototypes which have been used for track and other test and which have been left behind.

A: Due to arrive at dealers this month. Doubt it was a test drive. Have been told by management only one authorized to sell are dealer principals or management. So if you are not a legit player you can look at it at least ;)
Most are bumping price 10,000 or more to start so for the most part it will be a car that is paid for in cash as if it is over 110-120% no bank is going to write a loan for 90,000 or 100,000 for a car that stickers for supposedly 75000. (answered by vumenjimi on July 03, 2008)

A: Just how many cars do you think can out run a GT-R? a Modified Subaru or EVO may get a jump on the GT-R but those cars would never be as nice to drive or last as long. GT-R have data recorders that Nissan Technicians can download if the GT-R owner starts changing boost and making changes. Nissan will promptly void the warranty if the technician can prove the modification lead to a part failure. (answered by on September 27, 2009)
