2011 Infiniti M: Up Close

But the M’s headlights, bumpers and general profile feel like they’ve entered one too many wind tunnels.

I’m more bullish about the sedan’s cabin. Like before, the dash falls away from the driver to create the perception of space. Controls and finishes generally feel high-rent, and the navigation system augments Infiniti’s knack for these things with better graphics and a directional control knob. The glove compartment and center console both feel generous for a midsize sedan; conversely, the trunk does not. Q:

1996 nissan maxima headlights?

I was at the nissan dealership and they had halo headlights in blue and platinum white which headlights would look better on my maxima?
(asked by Des158134 on March 05, 2009)

A: You should be able to find some halo headlights on line. Actually a set should not cost more than $350. Besides each maxima stock head light could easily be over that. (answered by on March 05, 2009)

Q:

where can i find specific info on how to install 2002 nissan maxima hid headlights on a 2001 maxima?

im looking for info on how to install the 2002 hid headlights of a nissan maxima onto a 2001 maxima. ive heard that there needs to be some wiring done and want to find out exactly how to do it. please sends sites that have instruction. that would be helpful, thanks..
(asked by robert j on April 20, 2007)

A: There are no specific site you can access to perform the swap HID's have transformers for the low beams that need to be wired hot and ground and high beams tungsten bulbs hot and ground then parking lights too. Now are you sure the bumper and front grill and hood are the same? In other words will the new headlight assembly fit and not look like heck? And you realise those lights are the target of thiefs. Q:

Nissan maxima headlights???

I have an 04 Nissan Maxima i brought it new in 03.I love my car but its a pain in the neck!!!
My new problem is one headlight blew out.So my question is isn't that really early for a headlight to go out? Of course its no longer cover under warrenty and to my surprise the local auto places said they can only order them in pairs and its over 300$ to do that because they are HID?!!? Well, does anyone have a good idea or website on how to get this fixed or to buy a bulb thats not so expensive
Thanks for the help
Its not a regular 10$ bulb( i wish!!!).its an HID bulb big$$$. the whole headlight fixture is fine, in tact no accidents no damage. The problem is replacing an expensive(150$ cheapest I found) burnt out bulb in a 4yr old ,expensive car flawlessly maintained car. Endless bad luck problems make 150$ for a bulb hurt.
(asked by Weeeee... on January 01, 2008)

A: It's a <$10 bulb that you replace. You can literally drive it to the Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Advance Auto Parts or any other parts store and they'll show you, free of charge, how to replace it and will do it for you most of the time- feee. It's a <60 second job.

If the entire assembly is a problem, you have two options, one is to buy off of EBAY, but a cheaper and better one is to look for salvage yards on the internet where there are literally hundreds. Finally, there are several Nissan forums on the net with a bunch of folks who know the car well and can give you solid advice, plus point you in the right direction for buying parts, getting good service and will anser highly technical questions. I'd look herre before I went anywhere else.

Good luck- hope this helps.
