We try to send our long-term test cars on road trips as often as we can, but our Nissan Juke has left Michigan only once since we last wrote about it, a testament to its popularity as an in-town runabout. Even though its cargo hold is snug, the Juke’s agile handling, slick shifter, peppy turbo, and firm steering (in sport mode) make it a convincing hot hatch, albeit a tall one. Surprisingly for a front-wheel-drive car with a turbo, torque steer hasn’t been an issue. However, the Juke more than makes up for that with copious wheelspin. A limited-slip differential—even a brake-based impostor—would do wonders for the Juke’s ability to make full use of its spunky motor. We’re expecting to spend a lot of money on front tires over the course of the remaining 30,000 miles. Or maybe it’s a statement on the lack of space behind the front seats.
I am in the market for a newer car. I am looking at a 2006 nissan sentra ser spec v, and also a 2008 mazda3 i. Can't decide. the nissan is $9,995 with 39k miles, and the mazda 3i is $10,995 with 44k miles. I drive a lot with other people, kinda like transporting them so I need it to be a smooth ride, but I also want something sporty for myself. haha. I barely know how to drive manual for the Nissan, but my friend said that after a month or less I will have it down. What do you guys think? Because the mazda3 i is auto, but does have that manual shiftig with the + and - signs. what you think? (asked by Tyler on November 19, 2009)
A: It's basically your choice.If you want to learn how to drive a manual,then go for it.It is not hard to learn.The SE-R would be my choice of weapon due to a 2,5 liter,175hp engine and a six speed.Nothing wrong with the Mazda either,except an automatic gets lower fuel economy than a standard.Find out with car fits you and your lifestyle and sign on the dotted line! I just bought a used 2006 Nissan Sentra ser spec with 25000 miles on it. Im not sure whether I should use regular or premium fuel. Any advice? (asked by Matt on June 18, 2009)
A: Section 9 page 4 in that owners manual. Nissan says you can use 87 octane however for improved performance with your 2.5 liter use at least 91 octane. Do the fuel mileage test for your self try a couple tank fulls of each. reset the trip odometer A and use regular and use trip B for premium fuel. All it takes is 2 or 3 mpg for premium to pay for itself. (answered by on February 05, 9595)
A: you use th eone that gets you the best mileage way to know is by stopping at place you always stop fill with best or highest octane set mileage drive til you need to refil at same place use next lower octane set mileage one that gets you the most mileage right one to use then stop and fil up at place you sometimes stop at do the same thing like going to work or coming home from try two places going two places coming back then you know best fuels to use
its like this my nissan gets great mileage with shell high ocatne but gets the same with mobil regular its something driver has to work out and know not hard to do cant just say use premium only since not all fuels made the same an d not all drivers drive the same way always best to buy highest octane and work down always best to do it with a couple brands best not to drive out of way to buy it so places you stop going or coming home pick two going both ways then you know (answered by kelly_f_1999 on June 18, 2009)

The car has 42000 miles but the engine which was replaced new has 9000 miles.

A: I think that's a really good deal. But why did it have to have a new engine? If the new engine was replaced by Nissan then I don't a see a problem. I would say it'd be worth around $4500-6000.
