I want to upgrade the speakers in my car, a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT. I am already planning to get a new In-Dash Deck. So all I need to do is find out what kind of speakers to get, I would like a website that either has this info, or if someone knows for sure how many speakers and what size speakers are in the car that would be great. So far all I know is it is some Monsoon speaker system, probably papercone speakers....which equals crap!

A: go to crutchfield.com & click on the link Outfit My Car, then choose your year/make/model of car & options (Monsoon, OnStar, etc.)
I believe you'll have to have that GM Factory Integration Adapter - which retains ONSTAR system, factory door chime, and Bose system with aftermarket radio. Not sure what else it controls. It's $100 @ crutchfield.
If you buy the radio from them, you get the installation instructions, antenna adapter, & the in-dash kit for the radio @ no extra charge. If you buy the speakers from them, you get the brackets & speaker harnesses at no extra charge.
