I am looking at purchasing a renault 5 as my 1st car and have browsed the internet for kits for it. have seen pics of the carisma R5 and wondered whereabouts i can purchase it from and for how much.
If anybody has a second hand kit, can you send se some more details and maybe some pics directly to me. thnx

For my next car im thinking of getting a 1.4 renault 5 gt turbo. Just wondering is it fast for what it is. Are they nice to drive? Etc.

A: Unless you can find one that has been professionally rebuilt or been pampered and looked after properly you will most likely find that it has been thrashed within an inch of it's life and will be clapped out. (answered by Tim R on February 09, 8152)

The coolent light on my renault 5 campus prima lights up every day or so what do you think could be the cause?
Hi, my beloved renault 5 is well cared for ie serviced every year and looked after. I have booked it into be checked over by an aa aproved garage tomorrow as the coolent light illuminates for a few seconds every couple of days. Im just wondering if any of you have an idea of what could be the cause best and worst case scenario and how much i should expect it to cost to fix. I live in the UK. All sensible suggestions appreciated.
Turned out to be a blockage in the thermostat which thankfully has been fixed not too bad on the cost side thank goodness (asked by h2o on May 15, 2007)
A: Could be a faulty switch, low coolant, or indication of a cylinder head gasket problem (answered by tel on May 15, 2007)
