Sonic the Hedgehog was released in 1991 for the Sega Genesis game console, and its popularity caused sales of the console to outsell the Super Nintendo Entertainment System by a margin of 2-to-1 during the 1991 holiday sales season. Sonic Generations presents possibly the last opportunity for Sega's mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog, to remain relevant in the current gaming environment. The game has been featured on many compilations, and ported over to multiple systems, including Nintendo's Wii and Game Boy Advance. Originally created by Sonic Team, led by programmer Yuji Naka , designer Naoto Ohshima and game planner Hirokazu Yasuhara , the character was designed to be the opposite of Nintendo's Mario. But, Sonic Generation's blending of the old and new could possibly revive the once-great franchise.

A: You have to make sure that the TV is set to the correct input. Wherever you're plugging it into the TV should have a label (INPUT 1, FRONT, etc) and when you press the INPUT or AV button, it should cycle through or have a menu that you can select from. Just make sure the TV is set to the correct input.
This works, unless you're plugging the console into the port where the cable/satellite/antenna plugs into (black coaxial cable), then the TV must be set on channel 3 or 4. (answered by Jim on February 11, 9389)
