2010 Scion xD Review - Autochannel (press release) November 26, 2009
Scion's small xD hatchback seems to live in the shadow of The Box, the iconic xB. Which is too bad as it's a noteworthy car in its own right,
It also includes the Scion xB. MSN says that the Scion xB carved out a new niche offering a small, efficient and reliable vehicle that is not only versatile but appeals to younger hip buyers. The funky vibe of the xB indeed set it apart from other similarly sized vehicles like the Pintiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix. But you can make it more fun to drive with TRD suspension and wheels such as on our own 2004 xB RS1 here at Scioclonic. The list of cars from the last couple decades highlights those that changed the game in their given segments, if not started new ones on their own. While we don’t usually look to MSN Autos as an authority on the car, we have to applaud their recently published list of top ten automotive Game Changers.
Q:
A: you can put bigger sizes, but after a certain size it'll start hitting/messing up your fender which would then mean that if you want to keep using the bigger size rims, you'll need to shave the fender so the tire won't rub.
you can probably put 18's with some low profile tires on it, but i'm guessing after the 18's you'll start to see some rubbing. (answered by Chris L on March 13, 2009)
