Here’s how the list turned out: Volkswagen Golf TDI, Honda Insight EX, Toyota Prius, Smart ForTwo Passion, Honda Civic Hybrid and the Tesla Roadster. Going back to school for me meant walking, but in this new age of commuting and carpooling, I got to thinking about the new wave of fuel-efficient cars that are getting families from here to there on the big first day. With a little help from Google, I figured out a list of the top 5 cars for gas mileage these days – and threw in the fancy Tesla Roadster for fun. With gas prices growing faster than the kids, I decided to use the NetBase Insight Workbench tool to see what social media users are saying about their favorite fuel-efficient cars. One week from today, my children will be going back to school, and since we covered back-to-school clothing with denim on our last BPI, it struck me that I hadn’t thought about the mechanics of actually getting them there.
Q:
A: It does not matter what year or engine size
1 unclip the grille and unscrew the aerial
2 Undo the nylon screw on the plastic triangle with "Passion" badge on it and remove the triangle
3 unscrew the TWO screws in the middle of the bracket behind the grill
4 uncsrew 4 screws in each door shut and 1 where you took off that triangle thing
5 Now you have to carefully remove the front plastic panels of the car. There is two clippped parts under the front of the car once released give it a pull. Then with the doors closed pull the sides out a bit and then pull them away from just in front of the screen. Don't go mad because you have to reach in and disconnect the foglights and indicators and if you go mad you will break the fog light
Now you can see how to get the headlight out it's straight forward from here.
Before you put the front back on. Remove the side indicators and as you refit the front poke the wires through the hole, it will make it easier than fumbling to connect them.

A: Hi sweetie! go to the dvla webbie and they have a nice easy to use chart that tells you. In theory it should be down to about £40 but just check with the dvla first. good cars fun to drive but dont take them to smart or mercedes to be serviced, your local little man can cope with it for lots less! A: Your best bet is to take a quick look at the Smart Car Of America Forum. Users of the car can tell you directly what they like or don't like about the car.

As for millage, it's 33 MPG city and 41 MPG highway. Not bad for a low cost, non-hybrid car.
As for carrying groceries, the passenger's seat folds down and you can pack an amazing amount of groceries in that space. See message #4 for the photo.

As for safety, despite every "know it all" proclaiming the car a "Death Trap", the Smart has proven itself to be a safe car.
