Just a suggestion for headlines for Dermot: something to alert readers that there is more than one item in his column. on less busy days, I've read anyway and found some gems in the un-headlined items. I feel sure I miss a lot when I don't read, based on the headline. While it breaks many rules of good headline writing, it meets the one about indicating what's in the article.

Q:

Classic car enthusiasts: The brake lights on my 1959 Studebaker Lark 6 aren't working...?

Does anyone know, beyond replacing a fuse, any other parts I should be looking at? Someone mentioned a switch near the brake pedal once. Does that sound right? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

A: If you look on the brake pedal itself under the dash you will see the brake light switch. It is actually attached to the pedal and on most cars a 5 dollar part. I am not sure if parts stores stock it for something that old good luck. (answered by Will S on November 04, 2007)

A: you did pretty good on that one,,but you left a real good one out,the dodge challenger hemi cars,,and the older mustang gt,s were good, other than that ,,id like to own one of each of those,,they would be worth some good money ,good luck hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas. (answered by dodge man on December 22, 2006)

A: I think you are very very wrong as none of those would make my top 50 (except maybe the Corvette) let alone top 12.
