Q:

2006 subaru outback lots water in the carpet of passenger side?

I have 2006 outback limited with climate control and today I dried up the carpet of passenger side with bath towel, it was soaking wet with water (more than half a gallon). Yes I used the AC yesterday while driving in 100+ deg but did not expect a lot of condensation. Is this a sign of AC going bad?
(asked by James L on July 30, 2009)

A: Well the hotter it is and the harder you run the A/C, there will be more water. You need to find the leak though. There is a hose that should allow the water to drip under the engine bay, not in the cabin. You will have to do a little investigating and should find a leak somewhere. I have an 06 and it's been over 100 the last few days but no water on the floor. Just a puddle everywhere I park. (answered by I <3 my Suby. on July 30, 2009)

Q:

Burned rubber smell 2006 Subaru Outback?

We have a 2006 Subaru Outback. Everything is great with it except a burning rubber smell inside the car. The smell seems to only be there when slowing down or while stopped after being on the interstate for a while. The smell does not seem to be there when just driving around town. Anyone know anything about this?
I have checked the tires and emergency brake. I know it's not those things.

Q:

Does anyone know how to remove the bumper off of a 2006 Subaru Outback?

I have popped out all the pins, but i can't seam to pull the bumper off still, what am i missing?
(asked by brneydgirl41 on September 04, 2007)

A: Go to the website listed below, select parts catalog, collision parts, find the front bumper, select a component, and then click on view illustration. It will show you a view of the bumper and all the parts. Maybe you can figure out what else is holding it on. (answered by Somethingtotry on September 04, 2007)
