What Is the Best Aftermarket Turbo for a Subaru Forrester?
I have a 2008 Subaru Forrester and i am looking to give it some more guts. i have looked into many turbos but i cant decide. (asked by jamesbond1020 on May 23, 2009)
A: How much more power are you looking for? Have you done the turbo back exhaust and a tune yet? That will give you a good 50 to 60 more horesepower over stock for a lot less than a turbo swap. If you have and are looking for more, it still depends on how much power you want. Is it a manual? If so, i would not go much bigger than a 16G. A VF22 is a nice too with very little lag. The 20G is a really good match to the 2.5's too but the bug torque will on the high side of what the gears can handle so you would have to drive a little on the conservative side and nobody who wants to drive conservatively looks to swapping turbo's You need to set a realistic power goal and go from there. 2004 Subaru Forrester squeals when making sharp turns, even when not moving?
I am looking into purchasing a 2004 Subaru Forrester with 113000 miles. Overall, it seems to be quite a buy, but if I turn the wheel sharply left or right while driving or simply doing it while parked, there is a squealing noise. What could this be? Thanks for your help. A: A 2004 with 113000??? Wow, my 97 just hit 100k the other day. Thats a lot of miles for a young car like that. The power steering pump seems to be bad, I cant tell you what it might be because there can be several things wrong. Is the fluid level low? It might be burnt or just about shot. Bad seals can be letting presurized fluid through causing the squeel. Is the steering wheel hard to turn at all? Hard to determine.. (answered by !Junior on February 11, 8068)

Is it possible to fit three car seats (two infant seats, one regular car seat for a 2 year old) in the backseat of a Subaru Forrester? We don't want to have to get a new car when our twins arrive!
