Police say a Toyota pickup truck was headed southbound on Backlick Road when it crossed the median and entered the northbound lanes about 6 p. m. Wednesday. Wright says the pickup truck struck a Jeep Cherokee and an Oldsmobile sedan, then flipped and came to rest on its roof. SPRINGFIELD, Va. - Fairfax County police say a multi-vehicle accident in Springfield has killed two men and one woman. A woman driving the Jeep -- Katherine F. Miller, 52, of Springfield, Va. -- was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, a 41-year-old man, was ejected from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
Will oversized tires make a toyota pickup run warm?
I own a 1994 toyota pickup truck with a body lift and oversized (30x9.50R15LT) RV tires.Could these oversized tires (by putting more stress on the engine) cause my truck to run warmer than it should? (asked by john l on September 12, 2007)

How could I raise my 92 toyota pickup cheaply?
I have a 92 toyota pickup with stock tires, shocks, and body kit. It looks kind of lame being so low. So, I am trying to find the best way to raise it to a good height. Would replacing the shocks with bigger ones give me space to put on bigger tires? (asked by T.J. on September 19, 2008)
A: Unfortunately it's not as simple as replacing the shocks to add lift. Just keep in mind with bigger tires fuel mileage will drop and you may need to change the gear ratio.
This company has a 3.5" suspension kit with shocks that allows clearance for 30" tires. The cost is about $839 minus installation.
The cheaper alternative is a body lift which raises the body off the frame with spacers and it can be used with stock shocks. It's price is about $131 minus installation and can be found here:

How do you replace the steering wheel on an 84 Toyota pickup?
So I have an 84 Toyota pickup and I went to take the steering wheel off to replace it the other day and after I took the front horn panel off there was, what seemed to be a lock or something. It looked brass and rectangular and it seemed to be holding the wheel on even after I removed the center nut. Anyone have any tips? (asked by smashmaster6 on February 10, 8277)
A: Generally the steering wheel cannot withstand a very strong pull from you. You might want to rock the wheel a little while pulling one side then the other . Steering wheel puller are made for just that job. Some time i leave the nut screwed on a couple of threads so I don't smash the wheel into my face. Your old truck is old enough that it might need more than a steering wheel. (answered by on February 10, 8823)
