Jim Hemmingsen said he didn’t mean to startle his neighbors when he started up his Toyota Tacoma pickup truck one day last week. After a three-year lull, police say that catalytic converter thefts — and metal theft in general — may again be on the rise in Lane County. Hemmingsen, a 30-year resident of the Laurel Hill Valley area in southeast Eugene, called police to report the theft. The pickup “let out this huge roar, and I said, ‘Uh-oh,’ ” Hemmingsen recalled.

I heard from someone that toyota truck can go 300k or more. I saw on craigslist a company is downsizing and selling their claimed well maintained small tacoma at a reasonable price. A: If you're new to car audio, you probably dont know something that you should. JL Audio makes the best of everything. Speakers, amps, subs, crossovers, EVERYTHING. It all depends on how much you want to spend.
I'd go with some nice 10" subs to go underneath the seats or behind the rear seats. JL w3s are VERY good speakers. You could get a nice $150 alpine deck and a kenwood amp for around $500 total.

A: id say one of the best for sound quality is infinity get an alpine cd deck with a infinity 4 channel and the perfect series speakers and it will sound amazing you can also get a infinity sub or an alpine sub sounds good too (answered by Frank N on February 11, 6644)

A: Depends on your state's sales tax - try for $30,000 even out the door because Carmax in Laurel, MD sells loaded Tacomas for $28K and the out the door price would be right under $30K since Carmax does not haggle on price. (answered by Bob on December 28, 2007)
